  Had to rent a van to move house and they wouldn't accept my bank card, then my friend offered his and then they said we need 100 points of ID. Note that I've been renting from Budget in the CBD for many years previously and never had this issue before. Ended up costing me $430 to use a moving company because I had to move on that day. Stuff happens though and I probably wouldn't be here writing this except for the fact they were total jerks about it, honestly it felt like they were going to have a good laugh about it the moment we left. People like this really don't belong in customer service and it leaves a bad taste for the company as a whole. I was a long term customer but now I'm going to transition to Thrifty or Europcar after this experience.

  Amazingly helpful and flexible. It didn't quite work out but not their fault and they went out of their way to be helpful.

  Very happy with their service, flexibility and professionalism. We actually confused the return time and we were two hours late, but no extra charge and we were warmly welcomed when we returned. Would certainly use them again - thanks gents!

  Hey just thought I'd let you guys know that I've moved again and this year I've gone with Europcar. They were great - it was such an awesome experience and the customer service was great! Unlike yourselves, they didn't try to debit ~$600 from my account without my permission or accuse me of being liable for an alleged theft that occurred at your depot. If you ever want to respond to my email from last year with an apology for such a horrifically difficult moving experience, please let me know! :)
